How often should my pet have a check-up?

We recommend bringing your pet in for a health check every six months, especially for senior pets or those with ongoing medical conditions. Regular check-ups allow our veterinarians to detect and treat potential health issues early — keeping your pet healthy and happy for longer.

What vaccinations does my pet need?

Our vaccination schedules are tailored to your pet’s species, age, and lifestyle. Dogs typically require protection against parvovirus, distemper, hepatitis, and canine cough, while cats are vaccinated for feline enteritis and cat flu. During your pet’s annual vaccination, our veterinarians also perform a full head-to-tail health check to ensure your pet’s well-being.

What is the Platinum Paws Club?

Every annual vaccination at our clinics comes with a FREE 12-month membership to our Platinum Paws Club, which rewards pet owners for maintaining their pet’s preventative care schedule. Members receive exclusive discounts on food, treatments, and wellness services, along with free weight checks, dental exams, and more. Visit our Platinum Paws Club page to learn more.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept cash, EFTPOS, and all major credit cards, as well as veterinary payment plans through VetPay and Zip. Our goal is to make veterinary care accessible and affordable for every family. You can learn more on our Payment Options page.

Do you offer emergency veterinary services?

Yes, we provide assistance for urgent medical needs during clinic hours. Please call ahead if possible so we can prepare for your arrival. If your pet experiences an emergency outside of these hours, we are covered by a 24-hour emergency centre.

What should I do if my pet needs surgery?

If your pet requires surgery, our veterinarians will provide a full pre-surgical consultation to explain the procedure, recovery expectations, and aftercare instructions. We use modern anaesthetic and monitoring equipment to ensure your pet’s safety and comfort from start to finish.

Do you offer dental care for pets?

Yes, we provide comprehensive veterinary dentistry and oral surgery for dogs and cats. Our dental services include professional cleaning, extractions, and advanced imaging to maintain your pet’s oral health and prevent disease. Learn more on our Pet Dentistry page.

Do you treat senior pets?

Absolutely. Our geriatric pet care services focus on improving comfort, mobility, and quality of life for ageing pets. We provide regular health checks, pain management, and nutritional guidance to help your senior companion enjoy their golden years. Learn more about our Geriatric Pet Care.

Do you offer house calls or remote consults?

Absolutely — when visiting the vet isn’t easy for pets or their owners, we offer convenient in-home visits and remote consultations, ensuring you can access professional veterinary advice even if you live in a remote location.

How do I handle end-of-life care for my pet?
